Geneyclee Gallery x Hotel Jen Hong Kong by Shangri-La
On July 5th 2017, Geneyclee Gallery is proud to collaborate with Hotel Jen Hong Kong in bringing you a hotel exhibition by one of Hong Kong rising artist - Elaine Chiu.
Elaine Chu, Hong Kong’s post-90’s artist, a Fine Arts major at the University of Hong Kong, whose work is a reflection of her individual relationship with the fast-paced urban culture that is Hong Kong.
Located in the Western District of Hong Kong Island, Hotel Jen Hong Kong is a perfect base for exploring the city. It is a dynamic neighbourhood that is home to a fascinating mix of olden and modern culture. Catering to urban adventurers, we have been rolling out destination-centric programmes under the overarching concept of “Leave Boring Behind”, to let curious travellers explore the town through spontaneous experiences, unpublished insights and unconventional perspectives. We work closely with partners in the neighbourhood, for guests to immerse in the community like a local.
To create a creative and energetic vibe for guests, we are excited to see more artistic activities around the hotel. We will put great effort into collaborating with local artists, in order to demonstrate one of our passion points “Jen Why Art”, and to support local artists.
